Course description: The course objective is to provide future teachers with the insight into scientific findings regarding the characteristics of a desirable textbook; train them to critically approach and analyse and finally select a textbook based on the quality of content and didactic organization; prepare them to be able to adequately use the textbook as a teaching tool in the educational process.
