Theory of electromagnetic (EM) field and macroscopic approach. Maxwell' s equations. EM stresses and forces. Energy of EM field. EM potentials and gauging. Solving of static electric and magnetic field. Mechanical forces and torques in EM field. Equations of motion in EM field. Propagation of EM wave in unbounded homogeneous space. Energy transmission by EM wave. The Poynting theorem. Plane TEM waves. Propagation of EM waves in transmission line. EM field in a conductor. Skin effect. Fundamentals of finite element method and method of moments.
