Course description: Numerical solution of equations of electromagnetics (EM) potentials. Finite element method: approximation using finite elements, integral form of equations. Method of moments: integral equations of a EM field. Examples of solving EM fields in devices and systems in electronics, communications and power engineering. Computer aided design (CAD). Basic elements of CAD systems: computers and software. Two-dimensional drafting and three-dimensional modelling in CAD.
