Course description: Theory and characteristics of the sound field. Acoustical signals. Music and speech. Sound sources (point source, dipol source). Phenomenon during transmitting of sound. Electroacoustical-mechanical analogies. Resonator and filters. Sound waves in closed space and rooms. Hearing acoustics. Psyhoacoustics. Architectural and building acoustics. Absorption materials and constructions. Noise and vibration in building acoustics. Electroacoustical transducers: microphones, loudspeakers and earphones. Analog and digital recording and reproduction of sound: mechanically, magnetically, and photographically. Sound reinforcement. Hydroacoustics. Infrasound and ultrasound technology. Acoustical and electroacoustical measurements.
