Course description: The course introduces the students to the area of the interactive distributed simulations in the real-time use technologies of virtual reality. The course treats issues of design, development and implementation of various interactive simulation systems with the particular accent on phenomenology of interactions with virtual world in real-time. Different technological innovations in the area of virtual reality are analyzed for more realistic simulation of virtual environment, as well as input/output device which accomplish the efficient interaction in real-time. This course treats the systematic approach to mathematical models development for the real-time simulation of kinematics and dynamics of moveable objects in virtual environment. Through case studies based on real projects students get basic knowledge about design, development and implementation of the interactive simulation systems in real-time for different civilian and military uses. |
