- Course objectives: To present basics of automotive mechatronics Enrolment requirements and required entry competences for the course: Student responsibilities: Regular attendance of lectures and practical excercises Consultations as needed Grading and evaluation of student work over the course of instruction and at a final exam: Interactive teaching process, with active student participation in discussions and interpretation of results, exam, consultations, email correspondence Methods of monitoring quality that ensure acquisition of exit competences: Interactive teaching process, with active student participation in discussions and interpretation of results, exam, consultations, email correspondence Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to (learning outcomes): understand basic concepts of automotive mechatronic system design create dynamic models of powertrain and vehicle dynamics components and systems conduct design of control systems and calculate controller parameters execute computer simulations using appropriate software tools analyze and document obtained results Lectures 1.
