1. to recognise that a criminal offence against life and limb and sexual offence has been committed in a particular case

2. to single out specific cases in which a particular criminal investigation method can be applied

3. to describe advantages and disadvantages of applying criminal investigation methodology in typical cases

4. to interpret the results of actions carried out during the criminal investigation of criminal offences against life and limb and sexual offences

5. to organise and manage segments of simpler criminal investigations

6. to connect legal contents with the criminalistic aspects of investigative, evidentiary and special evidentiary actions

7. to compose necessary documentation about the criminal investigation of criminal offences against life and limb and sexual offences

8. to build successful cooperation with other state bodies responsible for the criminal investigation of criminal offences against life and limb and sexual offences

9. to categorise individual cases of violent crimes according to the criminalistic characteristics of the commission
