1. define misdemeanour law, misdemeanours and demarcate them from other forms of criminal offences

2. define and clarify the fundamental principles and institutes of misdemeanour law within the framework of the Misdemeanour Act

3. they will know what sanctions are provided for in Misdemeanour Law and other laws, and will generally adopt the professional terminology and meaning of the terms used in the work

4. disseminate findings and gain insight into the number of regulations prescribing misdemeanours for easier and faster knowledge and application in practice

5. define and clarify regular and shortened forms of misdemeanour proceedings, explain the principles of misdemeanour proceedings and its implementation

6. know the role of subjects within the framework of misdemeanour proceedings, especially the role and behaviour of police officers and Ministry of Interior as the authority competent for initiating and conducting misdemeanour proceedings

7. they will know the provisions of the law prescribing violations against public labour and peace, particularities of domestic violence misdemeanours and violence at sporting competitions, and other major violations that police officers most often encounter when dealing with in practice
