Course description:
Practicing different reading techniques, looking for particular information, defining the contextual meaning, sentence analysis, summarizing and accentuation of message. Presentation of authentic materials and making notes. Text processing: elements of text organization, informative part of the text, references (titles, subtitles, bibliography, summaries, contents, logical connectors), interconnecting elements and information relevance. Presentation of personal judgments, logical analysis of the text, pragmalinguistic issues. Writing essays on criminal investigation, criminal law and criminology.
