Learning outcomes:

1. Analyse and interpret different components of a musical work such as musical form, composition technique, harmonic and polyphonic component.

2. Perform without preparation music accompaniments for compositions of medium difficulty in combination with various instruments or the human voice.

3. Apply the acquired knowledge and skills to a distinctive stylistic performance in a public performance.

4. Apply the acquired knowledge and playing skills to a distinctive stylistic joint performance of a composition.

5. Synthetise musical-analytical, aesthetic and technical knowledge and skills on the instrument during the performance of a work.

6. Interpret the general compositional characteristics of the most important piano composers.

7. Participate to an equal degree in dynamic and agogic nuancing in group performance.

8. Use the most efficient technique in group instrumental performance.

9. Master the techniques of playing the instrument to a high level of knowledge and skills.
