Learning outcomes:

1. Define the contents and interpret the theoretical discourse of art history through a historical review.

2. Identify and explain recent questions in art history and basic theoretical positions within contemporary theories.

3. Interpret and comment on social phenomena from a reflective and critical sociological perspective.

4. Interpret the basic contradiction in the interpretations of the works of art of the past in the sense of disparate form and content.

5. Compare different theses and theories of art and aesthetic concepts and distinguish the essential from the inessential.
