Course description:

Acquiring competencies necessary for independent concert activities, for auditions in symphony and opera orchestras, as well as for work in music education. Developing of playing skills, developing of interpretation skills and building up of a broad repertoire.

Learning outcomes:

1. Communicate "artistically" with the audience during the performance.

2. Analyse and interpret different components of a musical work such as musical form, composition technique, harmonic and polyphonic component.

3. Methodically design a class.

4. Write one's own curriculum vitae and information for the concert booklet of one's own concert.

5. Organise a concert.

6. Connect the acquired knowledge and skills with one's own artistic ideas.

7. Apply the acquired knowledge and skills to a distinctive stylistic performance in public performance.

8. Work in a music school (primary or secondary) as a teacher of the main subject (instrument).

9. Independently select and compile a concert repertoire.

10. Synthetise musical-analytical, aesthetic and technical knowledge and skills on the instrument with the performance of the work.

11. Create one's own artistic concepts.

12. Suggestively perform compositions at solo concerts.

13. Suggestively perform compositions at concert performances of various ensembles.

14. Master the techniques of the instrument at a virtuoso level.

15. Lead the entire teaching process for the individual teaching of string instrument (violin, viola, cello) at music schools.
