Course description:
The analytical approach to bets is focused on the primary monitoring of the evolution of the tone duration parameter. - Basic determinants of the rhythmic component, history of rhythm in traditional music; - A. Webern: Concerto for nine instruments op. 24., analysis; - I. STRAVINSKI: Consecration of Spring, Introduction, Spring Returns, Mysterious Circles of Young Girls, analysis; - Schönberg- Stravinsky, comparison; - Musical time; Olivier Messiaen, features of musical language; - Technique of the musical language of O. messiaen; - A. Messiaen: Quartet for the End of Time, Liturgy of Crystals, analysis; -ON. Messiaen: Mode of duration and strength, analysis; - Total organization of parameters; - P. Boulez: Structure, analysis; - L. Nono: Stop singing, analysis; - Aleatorika, G. Ligeti, K. Stockhausen

Learning outcomes:

1. List the features of the rhythmic component after leaving the meter frame;

2. - Explain the connection between frequent changes of measure, rhythm cell and free rhythm;

3. - Analyze the compositions of the first phase of I. Stravinsky;

4. Analyze the characteristic compositions of O.Messiaen;

5. - Explain the reasons for the appearance and features of the so-called total organization of parameters;

6. - Analyze characteristic compositions determined by the total organization of parameters;

7. List the features of aleatoric and electronic music;

8. - Synthesize the overall path of evolution of musical material.

9. Analyse and interpret different components of a musical work such as musical form, composition technique, harmonic and polyphonic component, orchestration.

10. Form one's own mature artistic concepts.

11. Sing, prima vista, a demanding tonal and atonal example.

12. Synthetise the acquired knowledge and skills in the fields of music-theory or music-methodology.

13. Compose a smaller opera.

14. Compose larger one-movement compositions for a large symphony orchestra.

15. Compose larger multi-composition compositions for a symphony orchestra with combinations with soloists or choir, and with the use of added orchestral instruments or electronics.

16. Compose larger multi-movement compositions for a symphony orchestra.

17. Aurally recognise musical artwork with regard to the historical period of origin, stylistic and compositional characteristics, style and tonal provenance.

18. Aurally recognise musical artwork with regard to the historical period of origin, stylistic and compositional characteristics, style, instrumental composition and tonal provenance.

19. Use music notation software.

20. Create one's own artistic ideas based on electronic sound.

21. Collaborate in the field of music creation in art institutions, media, libraries and music publications.
