- Objectives of the course - Acquisition of facts related to the Gregorian forms for liturgical celebration, service of the hours, variable and unchanging Gregorian forms in the liturgy - Acquisition of practical and theoretical knowledge about tone structure and their application through different forms - Getting to know the specifics of the form for the chronology - Getting to know the structure of the mass celebration, its forms and contextualizing the musical and liturgical content -Achieving awareness of the connection of Gregorian forms and their practical application Conditions for course enrollment and entry competences required for the course Passed exam from the previous semester or collected a certain sum of ects points for further attendance of the semester.

- Learning outcomes:
1. Analyse and interpret different components of a musical work such as musical form, harmonic and polyphonic component.
2. Sing, prima vista, a demanding tonal example.
3. Work as an associate in conducting choirs and instrumental ensembles.

5. Play the piano to accompany moderately demanding choral, instrumental or singing compositions.
