Course description:
Objectives of the course: Getting to know the basics of computer 2d animation Conditions for course enrollment and entry competencies required for the course: Knowledge of working on a computer, knowledge of the basics of the English language Expected learning outcomes at subject level (4-10 learning outcomes) After passing the exam, the student will be able to: Have knowledge of the basics of working in a computer program for compositing Have knowledge of the basics of working in a computer program for frame by frame animation Do a couple of typical tasks related to 2D computer animation Prepare a project for making a short animated film The course content is elaborated in detail according to the class schedule: Free discussion: getting to know the students and their work, introduction to the course's issues and an overview of the topics for the lectures in the period of one semester. Getting to know the creative possibilities of computer animation. Students watch recent works from the field of computer animation with explanations from the professor. Getting to know the basic concepts of 2D computer animation. Getting to know the basics of After Effects, a program for creating 2D computer graphics. Getting to know the basics of After Effects, a program for creating 2D computer graphics. Getting to know the basics of TV Paint, a program for creating 2D computer graphics. Getting to know the basics of animation in a 2D computer program. Getting to know the basics of animation in a 2D computer program. Familiarity with combining different formats in the compositing process. Getting to know the basics of Keying and Green Screen. Getting to know the creation of special effects for feature films. Getting to know the creation and development of a project for a short animated film. Getting to know the creation and development of a project for a short animated film. Review of ideas and scenarios for the final paper. Overview of previous lectures and preparation for the final exam. Final consultation.

Learning outcomes:

1. Use knowledge of the basics of compositing software.

2. Use knowledge of the basics of working in software for frame-by-frame animation.

3. Present the results in selected groups and communicate them to peers.

4. Understand the basics of composition and framing.

5. Master the necessary professional terminology.

6. The students will be able to construct a more complex film unit using digital editing software.
