Course description:
Defining methodology as an independent discipline within school pedagogy. Analysis of current teaching plans and programs and curriculum. Acquisition of methodical knowledge and skills in musical areas intended for teaching Solfeggio (music school), Music Culture (primary general education school) and Musical Art (gymnasium). The areas of general music education are listening to and getting to know music, expressing yourself through and with music (active musicianship) and music in context (musicological content), while the basic areas of Solfeggio lessons are the areas of rhythm and intonation.

Learning outcomes:

1. Understand and apply the basic principles of methodical work with music in the mentioned schools. Prepare and practically realize certain parts of the teaching process: work in the field of rhythm and intonation, working on scales, alteration, modulation, music theory, procedures for practicing intonation and rhythm in a music school, and working on a song in a primary general education school). Get to know musical literature intended for school age and interpret it.
