Course description:
Course objectives Acquiring knowledge for arranging piano compositions for different mandolin ensembles (mandolin quartet and orchestra) and tambura orchestra. Getting to know the historical, technical and interpretational characteristics of the mandolin and tambura ensemble instruments. Mastering the notation of scores for mandolin quintet, mandolin orchestra and tambura orchestra.

Learning outcomes:

1. Analyse and interpret different components of a musical work such as musical form, harmonic and polyphonic component.

2. Harmonise tonal melodic lines on the piano.

3. Interpret the goals and tasks of different forms of music teaching.

4. Kreirati metodičke teme teorijski i praktično za predmete Glazbena kultura, Glazbena umjetnost i Solfeggio.

5. Recognise and characterise auditory musical examples of folk music from different parts of Croatia.

6. Make music arrangements for a mandolin quintet, mandolin orchestra and tamburitza orchestra.

7. Work as an associate in primary and secondary schools' extracurricular music activities.

8. Work as an associate in conducting choirs and instrumental ensembles.

9. Aurally recognise musical artwork with regard to the historical period of origin and stylistic characteristics.

10. Aurally reconstruct and record tonal musical examples of single-, two-, three- and four-voices.

11. Use music notation software.

12. Play harmonic accompaniment on guitar.

13. Play music scores of choral and orchestral compositions on the piano.

14. Play the piano to accompany moderately demanding choral, instrumental or singing compositions.
