Course description:

The aim of the course is to learn basic intonation and rhythmic concepts. Learning facts related to tonality system. Mastering the basic skills of musical dictations with regard to diatonic tonality with alterations, emphasized melodic thinking and the beginning of vertical awareness of tonal relations.

Learning outcomes:

1. Auditory identification of basic intonation and rhythmic terms (intervals and quintachords)

2. Identification of tonality in terms of theoretical knowledge of scales and quintachords of major and minor degrees in tonality

3. aurally recognize and record a melodic musical example of a diatonic tonal context with non-chordal alterations;

4. auditory recognition and recording of a two-part example of melodies and accompaniment.

5. auditory recognition and recording of a three-part lighter example of the homophonic type.

6. Hold solfeggio classes in primary music school.

7. Sing, prima vista, a demanding tonal and atonal example.

8. Aurally reconstruct and record tonal musical examples of single-, two-, three- and four-voices.
