Course description:
Mastering the skill of auditory reconstruction of virtuoso monophonic examples with frequent modulations, three-part chromatized examples and four-part examples of harmonic polyphony. Introduction to special aspects of the emancipation of the melodic line from the harmonic flow in the music of the late Romantic period.
Learning outcomes:

1. Aurally reconstruct virtuoso examples of one-voice examples, three-part chromatized examples, four-part examples of harmonic polyphony;

2. Apply auditory knowledge and skills to singing prima vista complex examples of extended tonality with frequent modulations;

3. Analyze the relationships of the melodic, harmonic and rhythmic components in the tonal context;

4. Determine the type of musical syllable based on listening.

5. Determine auditory aspects in examples from the music literature.

6. Analyse and interpret different components of a musical work such as musical form, composition technique, harmonic and polyphonic component, orchestration.

7. Hold solfeggio classes in primary music school.

8. Sing, prima vista, a demanding tonal and atonal example.

9. Aurally recognise musical artwork with regard to the historical period of origin, stylistic and compositional characteristics, style and tonal provenance.

10. Aurally reconstruct and record tonal musical examples of single-, two-, three- and four-voices.
