Course description:
Mastering the reading and playing on the piano of two-part, three-part and four-part scores written in two, three and four systems using the old keys (soprano, alto and tenor). Creating a relationship to reading a score written on multiple systems. Introduction to vocal literature from the Renaissance to the 21st century. Achieving awareness of stylistic ways of performance.

Learning outcomes:

1. Perform piano accompaniment of choral or moderately demanding instrumental and singing compositions.

2. Form one's own mature artistic concepts.

3. Hold solfeggio classes in primary music school.

4. Adapt a music score for different types of vocal and instrumental ensembles.

5. Synthetise acquired technical, formal and sound-shaping knowledge and skills and apply them in composing works for smaller symphony orchestra, chamber brass orchestra combining them with solo instruments or voice.

6. Collaborate in the field of music creation in art institutions, media, libraries and music publications.

7. Play music scores of choral and orchestral compositions on the piano.

8. Conduct various amateur level vocal and instrumental ensembles, i.e. choirs and orchestras.
