Course description:

Mastering the reading and playing of more complex polyphonic choirs on the piano. Creating a relationship to scores written in more than five systems with partial sharing of parts. Mastery by playing entire symphonies from the classics to the 21st century. Acquiring the skill of recording in the form of a piano excerpt of individual parts of a more complex orchestral score.

Learning outcomes:

1. Perform piano accompaniment of choral or moderately demanding instrumental and singing compositions.

2. Form one's own mature artistic concepts.

3. Hold solfeggio classes in primary music school.

4. Adapt a music score for different types of vocal and instrumental ensembles.

5. Synthetise acquired technical, formal and sound-shaping knowledge and skills and apply them in composing works for smaller symphony orchestra, chamber brass orchestra combining them with solo instruments or voice.

6. Collaborate in the field of music creation in art institutions, media, libraries and music publications.

7. Play music scores of choral and orchestral compositions on the piano.

8. Conduct various amateur level vocal and instrumental ensembles, i.e. choirs and orchestras.
