Course description:

Mastering the reading and playing on the piano of easier instrumental scores: duets, trios, quartets, strings and wind instruments written on two, three and four systems. Achieving an awareness of how to play different situations inherent to different instruments on the piano. Getting to know different techniques of playing different instruments. adoption of facts related to the possibilities of individual instruments. Mastering the skill of playing transposing instruments.

Learning outcomes:

1. Harmonise tonal melodic lines on the piano.

2. Make music arrangements for a mandolin quintet, mandolin orchestra and tamburitza orchestra.

3. Work as an associate in primary and secondary schools' extracurricular music activities.

4. Work as an associate in conducting choirs and instrumental ensembles.

5. Play harmonic accompaniment on guitar.

6. Play music scores of choral and orchestral compositions on the piano.

7. Play the piano to accompany moderately demanding choral, instrumental or singing compositions.
