Learning outcomes:

1. Analyse and interpret the most important works for piano.

2. Analyse and interpret different components of a musical work such as musical form, harmonic and polyphonic component.

3. Analyse and interpret different components of a musical work such as musical form, composition technique, harmonic and polyphonic component.

4. Create methodological topics, theoretical and practical, for the classes Music Culture, Music Art and Solfeggio.

5. Sing, prima vista, a demanding tonal example.

6. Apply the acquired knowledge and skills to a distinctive stylistic performance in a public performance.

7. Synthetise musical-analytical, aesthetic and technical knowledge and skills on the instrument during the performance of a work.

8. Aurally recognise musical artwork with regard to the historical period of origin, stylistic and compositional characteristics, style and tonal provenance.

9. Aurally reconstruct and record tonal musical examples of single-, two-, three- and four-voices.

10. Play music scores of choral and orchestral compositions on the piano.

11. Play the piano to accompany moderately demanding choral, instrumental or singing compositions.

12. Interpret the general compositional characteristics of the most important piano composers.
