- Course description:
- The course Documentation Photography in Conservation and Restoration 2, through a combination of field photography, practical work and theoretical knowledge, teaches about: - Understanding the characteristics of a digital image. - Using different types of artificial lighting: from mobile flash lighting to studio lighting. - Recording of different textures under studio lighting conditions. - Shooting with special techniques and in special photographic areas that are applicable in documenting works of art. - Multispectral recording techniques in given conditions.

- Learning outcomes:
1. Understand the peculiarities of the digital image, looking at the problem through the prism of the photographic image.
2. Explain the lighting situation at the recording object and propose a lighting solution.
3. Use a manual flash light independently.
4. Use studio lighting independently.
5. Determine the lighting solution for different types of textures.
6. Describe how to use special photographic techniques.
7. Describe the peculiarities of imaging and choose equipment for multispectral imaging techniques.
8. Describe the current state of cultural property.
9. Be aware of the aesthetic aspect of conservation-restoration activities and develop artistic and aesthetic sensibility to a satisfactory degree.
10. Maintain appropriate forms of documentation of the conservation-restoration intervention.
